  • Glen Burnie-based Chesapeake Real Estate Group LLC will market two properties it recently purchased to government contractors and distribution firms, company officials said last week.   • The city of Astoria will be moving ahead with more than $550,000 in road improvements after an Immediate Opportunity Fund grant was approved by the state at last month's Oregon Transportation Commission meeting. The grant, totaling $278,628, was issued to support the development of a 12-acre general industrial site at the city's east end. The grant was matched in full by developer Astoria Business Park LLC.   • SPANISH FORK -- Spanish Springs Development Company has purchased 92 acres of undeveloped industrial land in Spanish Fork, so far the largest commercial land transaction of 2006 in Utah County. The company plans to develop the land immediately, selling improved industrial building lots. It will also begin construction in 2007 on several warehouse buildings for lease.
