As the debate heats up over what recusal standards, if any, justices of the U.S. Supreme Court should be bound by, there remains the related issue: when a justice recuses, the problematic possibility of a 4-4 tie is born.
But Indiana University School of Law Professor Gerard N. Magliocca suggested a possible solution to that problem: federal circuit judges sitting by designation on the high court when a justice sits out.

Wes Attebury was just 28 years old with a newborn son when he died in 2007. The former Reitz High School and University of Southern Indiana basketball player had successfully fought skin cancer in 2004, but his second bout with the disease was fatal.
Friends and family came together after his death to form the Wes Attebury foundation, a way to keep Wes's name alive, spread information about melanoma and help support those who are currently fighting the disease.

MILLERSBURG -- James L. Schreiber, son of William and Clare Adel Schreiber, passed away on November 16, 2011, after a long illness.
James was born in 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Wooster High School in 1956 where he was president of his Senior Class. He graduated from The College of Wooster in 1960 with a music degree and received a Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Indiana University School of Music. James studied French horn with Martin Morris of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra and Phillip Farkas, first horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. While in high school he attended Interlaken Summer Music School in Michigan and the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado. He also studied conducting.
