As a former Republican, who is now forced to vote Democrat because Jim Sacia invited the mega-dairy to Jo Daviess County, I find it hilarious that the county tea party and their core values are being used to define candidate Victoria Grizzoffi as she runs against the eight-year incumbent. Having access to the tea party's questions does not dictate the stance or platform for a candidate. Most of the questions directed at her were at a federal level and constitutionally based - not something a state legislator has any control over.

This is a more difficult endorsement than we would have expected. You could hardly find two more different, legitimate candidates for Erie County executive than Republican incumbent Chris Collins and his Democratic challenger, Comptroller Mark Poloncarz.
