  • FARMER CITY - School facilities have a strong impact on student achievement. Blue Ridge has made many improvements to its schools over the past decade or so. On the Farmer City campus, a high school was completed in 2000. Since 2005, Schneider School has received a new roof and windows, upgraded electrical and alarm systems, ADA- compliant restrooms and chairlifts, and playground enhancements. On the Mansfield campus, the district completed $1.1 million in work to Blue Ridge Junior High in 2008 and 2009.
