WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush expressed gratitude Friday for Canada's nonmilitary help in Iraq as he and new Prime Minister Paul Martin worked through differences over the war and import restrictions on Canadian beef.
Canada should do what it feels comfortable doing in Iraq, Bush told reporters during Martin's first official visit to Washington. The Canadian prime minister "shares my deep desire for there to be peace in the world," Bush said.
