By Justin Kloczko Middletown Press Staff CROMWELL -- On a cool sunny afternoon in late summer, Cromwell resident John Wiernasz approaches a stand in front of the Main Street Post Office, which has a picture of President Barack Obama with a Hitler toothbrush-mustache. The caption below reads, "I've changed.
Three years ago a lonely figure stood on an interstate pedestrian overpass. There was a sign attached to the fencing and the man waved his arms to attract the attention of speeding motorists below. The word on the sign was "Impeach." The man was I. Mr. Bush was, of course, never impeached. Though the case for impeachment had been made in several books - books based on sober analyses of law and facts - the Democratic Party leader in the House nevertheless famously declared that impeachment was "off the table.
To the Editor: President Obama is using the EPA to get his way. Our president doesn't want any more drilling for oil. America has been telling him to drill baby drill, but just the other day the EPA told Shell Oil that NO more pumping or drilling for oil in Alaska is permitted.
REACH TO IMPEACH? A race of interest, perhaps. Kesha Rogers, a "Lyndon LaRouche Democrat," has won the Democratic primary in the 22nd Congressional District of Texas with 53 percent of the vote, the Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee announced Wednesday - noting that her opponent, Doug Blatt - who had been endorsed by local Democratic groups - received 27 percent of the vote. Ms. Rogers espouses a startling "impeach Obama" platform, among other things.
