JERUSALEM - Nearly 100 American Orthodox rabbis have signed a letter demanding that the conversions they perform outside Israel be recognized - at least for immigration purposes - by Israel's Interior Ministry. Mexican law enforcement arrested a co-founder of the Los Zetas drug cartel in the brutal highway-ambush killing of an unarmed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in February, Mexico's Public Security Ministry announced Monday. Last Thursday the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP) reported at its general meeting that the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism informed the agency that the ministry will be doubling its funding for the Immigration Settlement Adaptation Programme. The programme is for newcomers w"v" ho have been in Canada for less than five years and live with HIV/ AIDS. WHAT APPEARED to be a massive scam involving 700 passports that went missing at the Immigration and Passport Division of the Ministry of National Security has been smashed by the police, resulting in nine arrests and the recovery of 12 passports. The missing passports was discussed yesterday by Cabinet, as the Portia Simpson Miller-led administration deliberated on Jamaica's National Plan of Action to prevent and punish persons involved in the trafficking in persons.
