EL MONTE - Detectives arrested a man and his wife Thursday night on suspicion they built illegal gambling machines and placed the games in businesses all over the San Gabriel Valley.
Osama Mousa, 48, of Long Beach and his wife Carmen Mousa, 55, were arrested around 5 p.m. on suspicion of grand theft, possession of controlled slot machines and conspiracy, said Detective Ralph Batres of the El Monte Police Department.

EL MONTE - Police seized seven illegal gambling machines at four businesses Tuesday after they received an anonymous complaint from a resident, authorities said.
