HUBER HEIGHTS -- William E. Kirby, former superintendent of Huntington County Community School Corp. near Ft. Wayne, Ind., was named Huber Heights City Schools superintendent Thursday night. Kirby, 55, a Terre Haute, Ind., native, will begin a three-year contract Aug. 15. Assistant Superintendent Cheryl Dale was named interim superintendent for the two weeks before Kirby's contract begins.
