  • Mr. Forest Alfred Harris of 221 Oak Hill Road, Petersburg, Va., departed this life on Saturday, July 8, 2006. Forest was born on Feb. 24, 1945, in Wellsville, Ohio, to the late George Hudson Harris and Beatrice Hodnutt Harris McCuen. He served in the United States Army, were he did a tour of duty in Germany. He then married Jeanette Freeman, and to this union they where blessed with three children. Forest worked for VEPCO (now known as Dominion Power) until his health declined. Forest enjoyed camping out, fishing and hunting.
