Kelly Hafeman is the president of Howard Immel Inc., Green Bay. He has been with the company 19 years and took over as president six years ago. He has 30 years of experience in construction, having worked at De Coster Construction Co. Inc., Green Bay, and running his own home building company in the 1980s.
He's developing the next generation. Although his role as president of Howard Immel Inc. keeps him busy, Hafeman regularly takes the time to guide up and coming employees, he said. "That's the most enjoyable part of my job," Hafeman said, "mentoring the staff. I try to act as a curb and point them in the right direction.

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman added another component to plans to make the county a "model green community," with the creation of a Green Business Council Tuesday.
The council will act as a conduit for businesses with environmental purposes -- like solar power, electronics recycling and organic dry cleaning -- to relay their needs to the county, and as a promotional tool to entice more green businesses to locate there.

Funeral services for Mr. Howard "Skinny" Green of 138 Prospect Rd., Bartow who died Sunday will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at the Tarver Grove Baptist Church and Cemetery.
Mr. Green was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson Co. High, a truck driver with C. T. Harris and later Howard Sheppard.
