Dr. John Keith Bohon, DDS, succumbed to cancer on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at age 83, having "fought the good fight and kept the faith. He was born on December 27, 1926, to James William Bohon and Katherine Austin Bohon. "Kebo" as he was known was raised in the Virginia Heights district of Roanoke, and was educated in the Roanoke City Schools and was a 1945 graduate of Jefferson High School where he was a class leader and officer (Vice-President) and lettered in three sports.
