Formerly of Bainbridge, Esther was a homemaker but also worked as a housekeeper for the Red Rose Motel at Rheems. Previously, she was employed by the former Donegal Industries of Mount Joy, Colebrook Terry of Colebrook, Apparel Mfg. of Bainbridge, and Hestco of Elizabethtown. Esther was a member of Elizabethtown Mennonite Church, where she served as Sunday School secretary for many years and, more recently, she attended Bainbridge Church of God. An avid reader, Esther enjoyed needlepoint and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Louella Weigand, 87, of Landis Homes passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011. She was married to Charles F. Weigand, Jr. Her first husband, Robert E. Detwiler died in 1976.
Formerly of Bushong Road, Leola and Elizabethtown, Louella was a homemaker most of her life and also worked at Donegal Industries, Mount Joy for several years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, Brownstown. An accomplished seamstress, Louella enjoyed crocheting and traveling. She also loved to entertain and prepare dinner parties for friends and was known for her award winning apple pies.
