Northwest Mississippi Community College ended homecoming week with a 66-41 victory over Holmes Community College. Fans filled the stadium seats not only to watch the game, but to see who would be named homecoming queen for each campus. After online voting, three queens were selected for the DeSoto center, Senatobia campus and Oxford center. Nicole Martin, a sophomore education major from Southaven, was voted queen for the DeSoto Center. Leigh Tedford, a sophomore nursing major from Southaven, was voted queen for the Senatobia campus, and Kristi Ray, a sophomore office system technology major from Oxford, was voted queen for the Oxford Center.
