CHEVY CHASE, Md., Aug. 4 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Young women leaders who attended the 58th annual session of Girls Nation returned to their homes across the country on July 31. Having spent a week immersed in living a legislator's life, conducting political conventions -- unperturbed by the competing convention in Boston - - listening to speakers from various levels of government, and visiting several historic sites.
To cap off the experience, each girl was appointed to an executive position by Girls Nation President Kate Gilman of New York.
