Hillcrest Family Services marks its 115th anniversary with a Silver Tea at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at Grand View United Methodist Church.
The tea honors three early Dubuque women responsible for the establishment and development of Hillcrest - Dr. Nancy Hill, Anna Blanche Cook and Anna Lawther.

Jesse N. Shimon, of 2485 Wilbricht Lane, is charged as an adult and remains in custody in the Dubuque County Juvenile Detention Center. He is charged with attempted murder, willful injury, first- degree attempted burglary, third-degree burglary, second-degree theft and serious misdemeanor trespass.
