The collision was reported at 2:23 p.m. on the 60 Freeway at Ramona Avenue, according to CHP information. A man was reported to be un-responsive in his vehicle after his head struck his windshield.

ONTARIO A plane full of weary California Highway Patrol officers arrived at Ontario International Airport from Louisiana on Thursday, sleep-deprived but prepared to roll out again if called upon. More than two weeks ago, the 104 officers, most of whom were part of a special operations team based in the Inland Empire, headed to the Gulf Coast to aid in law enforcement after Hurricane Katrina devastated the region. John Fogerty, CHP Inland Division chief, said that while the living arrangements were cramped and Hurricane Rita complicated matters, officers believed they assisted in making New Orleans safer and had a once-in-a-lifetime experience, including working near dozens of alligators.
