We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc. Model CL-600-2C10 (Regional Jet Series 700, 701, & 702), CL-600-2D15 (Regional Jet Series 705), and CL-600-2D24 (Regional Jet Series 900) airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of failures of a hydraulic accumulator's screw-cap/end cap while on the ground that resulted in loss of use of that hydraulic system and in high-energy impact damage to adjacent systems and structures. This proposed AD would require an inspection for part numbers; repetitive inspections for any cracking of certain hydraulic system accumulators, and replacement, if necessary; and revising the maintenance program to include a life limit for certain hydraulic system accumulators. We are proposing this AD to prevent l...

NEW YORK - Verizon Wireless is deploying a version of the Web media technology known as "Flash" to boost the visual sparkle of graphics, animation and video delivered to its cell phones - and hopefully spur more customers to buy that content.
The company said Wednesday the "Flash Lite for Brew" technology, developed by Adobe Systems Inc. and Qualcomm Inc., initially will be compatible with four high-end phone models. The handset's software will be upgraded over-the-air with an automatic download when a customer accesses Flash-enabled content.

I always wanted to be a hair stylist, and as my dream became tangible, I also wanted to give others the same opportunity," said Bailey. She has surfaced as one of South Florida's most prestigious hair artists and educators. All Dolled Up Inc. (ADU) grew from that dream into multiple salon locations and now, the ADUSOC. "Attending the ADU School of Cosmetology allows opportunity!" said Bailey, "I love to hire my graduates or help them find quality shops to further their careers." Black American themed salon, ADU utilizes consumer information and cutting edge technology to better tailor your salon visit. By studying consumer trends ADU has answered two problems which plague the quality of the Black hair industry; high end treatment yields very high prices and poorly managed booth rental ...

We propose to supersede an existing airworthiness directive (AD) that applies to certain Bombardier, Inc. Model CL-600-2B19 (Regional Jet Series 100 & 440) airplanes. The existing AD currently requires revising certain sections of a certain airplane flight manual, deactivating certain hydraulic accumulators, removing certain hydraulic accumulators, ultrasonic inspections for cracks on accumulators and screw caps and replacement if necessary, and replacing certain accumulators. Since we issued that AD, we have determined that, for certain airplanes, reducing the compliance time for a certain replacement is necessary to ensure that the identified unsafe condition is addressed. This proposed AD would continue to require the existing actions from the existing AD. We are proposing this A...
