POMONA -- The Pomona Host Lions Charities, Inc. has launched its second annual Sight for Success Campaign to raise money for eyeglasses for Pomona Unified School District children who otherwise cannot afford vision correction.
Recently, PUSD representatives joined with the Lions in kicking off the fund-raising drive. Participating in the kickoff from the PUSD were Richard Martinez, superintendent; Lion Richard Rodriguez, school board member; Lion Fernando Meza, administrative director for pupil and community service; Lion Sheila Lyons, director of health services and chairperson for the fund drive; David Larson, PUSD program assistant of health service and programs; and Lion Morgan Brown, Associated Pomona Teachers executive director.
