• Swine Flu Declared Local Health Emergency

The swine flu virus has caused enough concern for the Los Angeles County Board of supervisors to declare a local health emergency - as a precautionary measure. In support of California Department of Public Health's response to the outbreak, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also proclaimed a State of Emergency.
