The defunding legislation proposes to keep tax money from businesses performing abortions. Planned Parenthood claims abortions are only 3 percent of its services. When Planned Parenthood stops aborting 332,000 preborn infants a year with the defunding, it will not affect tax money for the 97 percent of health care services it claims. The $350 million tax money it receives can be used exclusively for real health care. Poor women will not be deprived of health care. Abortion is not health care.
