VIRGINIA BEACH | A police officer who recently pleaded guilty to inappropriate contact with minors no longer works for the department, a police spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
Ronald S. Dunn, 44, pleaded guilty to two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor last week, according to Amanda Herman, a spokeswoman for Commonwealth's Attorney Harvey Bryant's office.

Former San Bernardino County Assessor Bill Postmus pleaded guilty on Monday in San Bernardino Superior Court to criminal charges stemming from scandals involving the Assessor's Office and a legal settlement with a Rancho Cucamonga developer.
As part of a plea bargain with prosecutors from the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office and the state Attorney General's Office, Postmus, 39, agreed to plead guilty to all charges filed against him in both cases including conspiracy to accept a bribe, conflict of interest, misappropriation of public funds and asking for and receiving bribes.
