The Town of Clarence is collecting proposals from architectural and engineering firms as it decides whether to follow through on an idea for an indoor ice complex at the Eastern Hills Mall.
Firms have until May 19 to submit proposals to the town engineer. If the arena plan eventually receives the green light from the Town Board, it would be a joint venture involving the town; the mall's owner, Mountain Development Corp.; and the nonprofit Clarence Community Recreation Corp.
