Mrs. Bailey grew up in Portland, one of six children. Her mother died when she was 3 and her father died when she was 16.

WASHINGTON Summoning memories of his slain brother, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy led two generations of the First Family of Democratic politics Monday in endorsing Barack Obama for the White House, declaring, "I feel change is in the air.
Obama is a man of rare "grit and grace," Kennedy said in remarks salted with scarcely veiled criticism of the Illinois senator's chief rival for the presidential nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as her husband, the former president.

John Rosemond is coming to Grace Evangelical Church, 9750 Wolf River Blvd. in Germantown, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., to present "Parenting with Love and Leadership from Tots to Teens.
Rosemond is a family psychologist and parenting expert who has both directed mental health programs and been in full-time private practice, working with families and children.

, age 89, of New Holland passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Tel Hai Retirement Community of Honey Brook. She was the wife of the late Earl M. Trego who passed away on March 20, 2009. She was born in Chester County, daughter of the late Harry and Edith Gable Kessler. She was a long-time member of Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church of Christiana and in recent years was a member of Grace Family Church of New Holland. She was a graduate of the former Honey Brook High School class of 1941. Elsie was a waitress at Gap Diner for over 30 years. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, crafts and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons: Dale M. Trego of New Holland, The Rev. Randall W. husband of Lois A. Trego of Houston, TX; 4 grandchild...
