Walter Oden II took the helm of the Long Island office of the U.S. Small Business Administration, located in Hauppauge and covering all of Nassau and Suffolk counties and pockets of the five boroughs, late last year. He came to the federal gig armed with an arsenal of business development skills from his previous position in affiliate sales at Viacom, where he hammered out contracts between the company and cable TV stations.
