EAST RUTHERFORD -- The Giants' offense must figure a way to survive against Seattle on Sunday without suspended wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
On the flip side, the Giants' defense must figure a way to cope with three returning Seahawks receivers who have yet to play a down this season.

CARSON - It was almost a repeat performance for the Galaxy, with a little L.A. showtime thrown in.
Playing with the same defensive intensity that brought a shutout victory in the first game of the two-game MLSplayoff series and adding David Beckham's pinpoint passing accuracy, the Galaxy defeated Seattle Sounders FC 2-1 Sunday night at Home Depot Center.

Premera employees here process claims and provide customer service for members throughout the system, including for Premera Blue Cross health plans in Washington and Alaska, and its Lifewise health plans In Oregon and Arizona, Akers says. Akers says Spokane is a good place to recruit people, and a good benefit package here means a lot, whereas in the Seattle area employees often will leave a job for a slightly higher paying position elsewhere, because the high cost of living makes cash for living expenses more important in that market than it is here.

Nearly every closet has at least one splurge outfit hanging there in perfectly good shape, a reminder of a rash purchase that didn't work out. It's too precious to give away but takes up coveted space.

Los Angeles ran away last season, finishing 21 games ahead of the other guys. Will this year be any different? With plenty of help from The Associated Press, here's how the division shapes up: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim We don't have Mark Teixeira, Francisco Rodriguez or Garret Anderson anymore, but do have plenty of depth and balance. Our outfield is loaded, with Bobby Abreu, Vladimir Guerrero, Torii Hunter, Juan Rivera and Gary Matthews Jr. Our top starting pitchers, Ervin Santana and John Lackey, are dinged up, but should be OK. Hated to lose K-Rod and his 62 saves (WOW!), but like this Brian Fuentes fellow as our clos...

If ever a time period had earned its monicker, this current "Information Age" has done so with gusto. The technological world is exploding in its ability to both provide and analyze information. The question is: How much information is too much information?
A good example of that conundrum is in the news this week. Seattle-based Safeco Insurance will be offering a service that allows parents, using a GPS device in a car, to monitor that vehicle when it's driven by their children. (The idea is already in use for cell phones - once again, the future arrives more quickly than expected.)
