Lights will go to black on the Man in Black's musical revue when "Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical Show" closes this weekend at the Helen Hocker Theater. The jukebox musical is packed with Cash's songs performed by a talented cast of four women and three men backed by an onstage band. Final performances are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Helen Hocker Theater in Gage Park. Tickets, which are $12 for adults and $10 for youths 12 and younger, can be purchased in advance by calling 368-0191 or at the theater office -- or, if any remain, at the door of the theater.

Neat eats
I love eating at the Golden Eagle Casino (six miles west of Horton on K-20 highway). They have good food, especially on steak night (Thursday) and catfish night (Friday). They have the best steak I ever ate.
