• Fire Departments Join to Help Illinois Station

Several fire departments from northern and central Illinois have joined together to help the Pope County (Ill.) Rural Fire District recover from an arson that destroyed its Dixon Springs station last summer. The July 25 fire destroyed one of only four stations used to cover a large portion of rural Pope County in southeastern Illinois.
