ATLANTA - A month after the Georgia Technology Authority arrested one of its own programmers for improperly accessing and downloading driver license records, no reports have surfaced indicating the data was misused or found its way into the hands of identity thieves.
But the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is continuing to investigate the incident, and, after a review of security measures, the state's data management agency is about to implement new steps to make all of its data safer, a spokeswoman said.
