George Kottaras began the inning with a single to left field off Chris Resop. Casey McGehee doubled to right, sending Kottaras to third.

Milwaukee matched a club mark for margin of victory and set a record for its biggest shutout win. Prince Fielder hit his first home run of the season and Edmonds, Braun and George Kottaras also connected -- they were among 10 players with an RBI. The Brewers, who led 10-0 after five innings, finished with 12 extra-base hits. Milwaukee led 10-0 after five innings, then scored six runs in the seventh and four more in the ninth. The rout came a day after the Brewers beat up Pittsburgh 8-0.

• Beavers Complete Season with 9-5 Win at Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY -- Luke Carlin and Julius Matos each had four hits and two RBI, and Luke Allen homered and drove in three runs as the Portland Beavers wrapped up the 2006 season with a 9-5 victory over the Salt Lake Bees on Monday afternoon at Franklin Covey Field. The bulk of Monday's production came from the bottom of the Beavers' order, with Allen, Carlin, Matos and George Kottaras combining to go 12 for 17 with nine RBI and seven runs scored as the No. 6-9 batters in the lineup.
