WATERFORD -- , 82, of Waterford, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, at his residence. He was born in Talmadge, June 30, 1929, to Howard and Vivian (Green) Williams. George served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
CHESAPEAKE - , 73, of the 2500 block of Stowe St., peacefully passed away Feb. 3, 2007, in Autumn Care of Great Bridge. He was a native of Norfolk County and was born to the late Missouri Ida May Williams and the late Jim Sparrow. George was educated in the Norfolk County public school system. He served in the U.S. Army for three years and also in the Korean War. He became a member of Providence Christian Church at an early age and was the president of the Male Chorus. He was predeceased by three sons. George is now "In The Garden," which he so often sang about.

Ms. Suggs is survived by her father, [George H. Suggs Sr.]; children, Ina Anita Suggs-Williams, Scoey DeShawn Suggs and Patrick Lament Suggs; grandchildren, Destiny Monique Suggs, Khari Caldwell, Deja Andrea Williams and Martrice Glosson; and a host of other relatives.
George H. Williams, 86, of Fayette died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Fayette Caring Center. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at Second Baptist Church in Fayette. Burial will be in Mount Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.
