PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Raymond George Duewer, 80, of Platteville, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Southwest Health Center, Platteville, following an 18-month battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, Elizabeth; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary (Ken) Dougherty, of San Jose, Calif., and Julia (Tom) Harman, of Dodgeville; as well as his grandchildren, Anna (5) and Emily Dougherty (18 months) and Alex (8) and Bethany Harman (4). Services will be at noon Wednesday at the Platteville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Christianson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, where military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 42 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5274.
