Rolls-Royce is set to take the next step in its multi-year plan to build an advanced manufacturing campus in Prince George County.
Company officials said they may open a second manufacturing facility at their Crosspointe location in Prince George by 2014. Congratulations and thank you to the Glendora Rotary Club, which recently awarded $16,600 to local teachers through its mini-grants program.
This brings their contributions to our local schools to more than $350,000 since the program began in 1985. Mini-Grants for Teachers awards competitive grants of $300 to $600 for special classroom enrichment projects that would not otherwise have a source of funding.
