Provident Bank announced a new credit card management deal Tuesday with GE Money that will provide customers with new features like a rewards program, but will require current bank MasterCard holders to reapply for a new card.
GE Money took over management of the Provident Bank Platinum MasterCard effective Tuesday, both companies said in a statement. Under the terms of the multi-year deal, GE Money will own and manage the accounts for Provident. The cards themselves, though, will carry the Provident Bank brand.
