MURRAY -- Ronnie Lee Gardner will get two hours to personally plead with the state Board of Pardons and Parole to spare his life.
The board met Thursday to set the ground rules for Gardner's commutation hearing, set for June 10 and 11 at the Utah State Prison in Draper. He has asked to have his death sentence changed to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

As fate would have it, Greg Miller was there when it all began. He was there the very moment his father, Larry H. Miller, the former stock boy and car-parts manager, unwittingly took the first step in building what would become a multibillion-dollar business empire.
He and his father were stuck at his grandmother's Salt Lake home with nothing to do one April day in 1979 while visiting from Denver. Larry and Greg decided to kill the afternoon by going for a drive. Eventually, they wound up at the Toyota of Murray dealership to visit a longtime business acquaintance named Hugh Gardner.

Helix Wind next year expects to submit an application to the Department of Energy for two separate loan guarantees totaling $10 million to aid their purchase of Newberg's Abundant Renewable Energy, according to Terrence Murray of Green Energy Reporter.
Helix CEO Ian Gardner plans to use the guarantees to buy small turbine distributor Abundant Renewable Energy, as well as German wind power system company Venco Power.

Mrs. Brett was Born June 3, 1965 in Americus, GA to Mr. Lee Murray and Gloria Gardner Jr. She was employed with the Washington County State Prison System as a Counselor. She Graduated from Thomas Jefferson Academy in 1983, where she participated in Softball, basketball and track. She attended ABAC College in Tifton, GA and received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
