The Roundup Program provides parents and student an opportunity to visit their school and begin the process of becoming members of the Gahanna-Jefferson Schools' family. The screening assists school staff in identifying each child's developmental readiness for kindergarten.
Children attending the Roundup will spend time in a kindergarten group with a Roundup Team. This team includes the kindergarten and other classroom teachers, a speech therapist, and a school nurse. Hearing, speech, gross motor development, social development and fine motor development will be assessed during the program.
