BEAVERCREEK -- Construction of two new schools, which was approved by voters in 2008 when they passed an $84-million tax issue, has again been delayed, this time over a zoning change.
Beavercreek Twp. zoning commissioners tabled a request Feb. 4 to remove a 50-acre parcel from the Stonehill Village planned unit development. District officials want to build new elementary and middle schools on the land, but do not want the covenants and design restrictions that come with the current zoning.
