WASHINGTON, May 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A strong majority of flight attendants at Frontier Airlines today voted to join the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA). The election vote, conducted by the National Mediation Board (NMB), showed that 456 out of 879 flight attendants voted for AFA-CWA representation. Frontier Airlines is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc.
Frontier flight attendants look forward to negotiating a contract that will protect our interests and address our issues," said Erika Schweitzer, appointed transitional AFA-CWA Frontier President. "As AFA-CWA members, we will finally have a legally recognized voice to negotiate with management and gain protections that are specific to the needs of Frontier flight attendants.
