"So everytime someone called the store and asked if they carried Fresh Produce, she would say, 'No, we carry clothing, but you can go up the street to the produce store on Route 5.' Testa died Oct. 24 at age 81.

The new Target at the Shoppes of Kissel Village opens at 8 a.m. today. The 133,000-square-foot store is the second in Lancaster County for the Minneapolis-based retailer. It is next to Giant Food Store just south of Lititz, along Route 501. The Target features groceries, including fresh produce, meat and bakery goods, as well as clothing, shoes, electronics, jewelry and home departments.
