FARMINGTON - A Franklin County justice found a Massachusetts man guilty Friday of leaving the scene of an accident that killed one man and injured a woman and her daughter last year on Route 27 in New Vineyard.
Domingos Medeiros, 49, of Assonet, faces up to five years in prison on the charge. Justice Michaela Murphy said the sentencing hearing may be held June 16.

JONESPORT - A great-grandmother who lives alone has about $10,000 worth of her personal property back after the Maine State Police made an arrest in the daytime burglary of her Main Street home last week.
Franklin Perry, 24, who has a criminal record in Massachusetts, is being held in the Washington County Jail on $10,000 bail for a Class B burglary charge. He was arraigned in district court today.
