K-STATE BASEBALL STADIUM GETTING FACELIFT: AstroTurf Game Day Grass 3D60 infill system will be installed on to Frank Myers Field at Tointon Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas State Athletics announced Monday. The facelift to the baseball stadium begins this week. The new infill turf will cover the whole field, replacing the artificial infield and warning track, as well as the natural grass outfield and bullpen areas. Just one other Big 12 baseball stadium features the surface, while two Major League Baseball stadiums have it.
