There's no prison sentence that would have satisfied the grieving relatives Thursday because no matter how long Alberto Vallejos sits behind bars, the four young women he killed will never come home. But something about the 17 years a judge imposed on the drunken driver seemed especially inadequate and cruel to Francisco Ochoa, whose three sisters and young daughter died last year when they were rear-ended on Interstate 10 in Montclair. How is it fair, Ochoa asked Thursday, that Vallejos will someday walk free while he and his family spend their lives suffering for the drunken driver's recklessness?
