Hackers do not need to have physical access to the network, and they do not have to be close to an individual's phone (if they employ booster antennas) to compromise security. While businesses can capitalize on smartphones to create an anywhere solution to enhance staff productivity,...

In 2005, Scott Jones, ChaCha's co-founder, developed the idea for ChaCha, a mobile answers service, after giving a speech about the latest and upcoming trends on the Internet. ChaCha's mobile answer service works on any cell phone, according to Jones. It can also be used in conjunction with Twitter and Facebook. By December 2009, ChaCha generated more revenue per question and per answer than it cost the company to generate the answer. Jones says that the plan for 2010 is to educate consumers and advertisers about the ChaCha service and the value proposition it offers to both segments. The long-term goal for ChaCha is to continue to build its brand while providing a question-answering service to users, regardless of the medium or application they use to ask their questions.
