With new food safety laws going into effect next month, Penn State, The Lancaster Center, will offer a ServSafe Food Safety Certification course in Lancaster to train food service managers, chefs, caterers, cooks, health officials and food processors who need food safety certification.
Beginning Jan. 22, all individuals whose Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Food Employee Certificate is up for renewal will be required to complete an approved food safety program and successfully pass the certification exam.
