  • Trout fishing on the Ramapo River got a whole lot better Friday after the big truck arrived at Glen Gray Bridge in Oakland. Alive on arrival were hundreds of farm-raised brown, brook, and rainbow trout, trucked in from the state's Pequest Trout Hatchery in Warren County. The fish were released into the Ramapo and Wanaque rivers as part of the state Division of Fish and Wildlife's fall restocking program, as the autumn trout season began with a splash.
