PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Ten charitable funds totaling more than $700,000 have been transferred from the First National Bank in Platteville to the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. The foundation will oversee the investments for the funds and grant awards according to the wishes of each fund's donor.
All 10 of the charitable funds originated from Grant County donors. They are:

North got a lift from its bench in making a fierce fourth- quarter rally to force overtime and David Alexander set the tone in the extra session with a 3-pointer as the Huskies defeated Mater Dei, 73-69, in the first consolation game of the Old National Bank Southern Indiana Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday night at Central's gym.
The Huskies outscored Mater Dei 20-6 in the final period to extend the game. Alexander hit a 3 from the top of the key early in the overtime and they maintained control.
