From a humanities student to one of the most astute businessmen on the Street, now sitting on boards of the New York Stock Exchange Euronext and ICAP, Jim McNulty has come a long way. He began his career at Harris Bank, which then was trying to build its foreign exchange business. In 1984 he co-founded a boutique investment bank in Chicago and one of their first clients was O'Connor & Associates, the options proprietary trading power house.
