First National Bank of St. Louis has hired Neil C. Volkmann as senior vice president of mortgage lending. In addition to Volkmann, the bank has hired nine new mortgage loan officers, doubling First National's loan originating capabilities.
Volkmann comes to the bank with nearly 20 years of experience in various management and senior loan officer positions. A graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Volkmann has served on the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of St Louis for six years.

A case that touches on the constitutionality of two statutes governing the timing and penalties of deeds of release will head to the Missouri Supreme Court, the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, said on Tuesday.
