A fourth-generation banker, Lee Symcox has served First Fidelity Bank for nearly 30 years. He was named president and CEO of First Fidelity in 1993. Symcox and his wife, Suzanne, along with Bill Cameron and his sister, Lynda, make up the ownership group of First Fidelity.
First Fidelity Bank will break ground today for its second full- service branch in Tulsa. Tulsa market President Joey Snyder said the $1.2 million expansion will give First Fidelity a better chance to land and serve northern customers.
A cozy French cottage awaits customers at First Fidelity Bank's new Tulsa branch, offering rich wood liberally applied through the ceiling beams, fixtures, and wall and floor panels, lush leather chairs on colorful area rugs, dark polished end tables and several oil paintings of running streams and gentle dirt roads passing through lazy wooded hills. That brick and stone structure at the corner of 21st Street and Boulder Avenue, patterned after the Harwelden Mansion in Tulsa's neighboring Mapleridge District, presents an image of tranquil stability in this era of runaway oil prices, troubling inflation fears and sour election rhetoric - which fits the niche First Fidelity has carved out.
