It's now crunch time in a high school fall sports season that appears headed for fantastic finishes across the board.

Felipe José, a deputy sheriff with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in Florida, is also the law enforcement and military representative for FailZero. He explained that FailZero, recognizing economic concerns of agencies, tries to work with them to ease funding for EXO upgrades of their equipment. While some agencies have been able to apply budget funds for the coating, others have been able to procure grants. FailZero also has worked with a third-party public safety training program.

A bass pro in the FLW Series since 2005, Hippert's finishes in contests at Lake Erie and 1000 Islands this past year qualified him in the Northern Division for the final competition at Kentucky Lake on Oct. 27-30.

Southern Boone senior Kyle Stone shot a 2-over par 74 on the final day of the MSHSAA Boys Golf Championships yesterday at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield to finish second in Class 2 with a two-day total of 153.
The second-place finish is the best by a Southern Boone golfer in school history, besting fourth-place finishes by Brandon Nichols in 2002 and Payton Schooler at the girls championships last fall.
